Very important is a road loss of third rankedAPOP (1-4) against fifth ranked Moufflons (2-3) on Sunday night. Visiting APOP was crushed by Moufflons in 75-43 . The game without a history. Moufflons led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding APOP to just 7 points in first quarter. Moufflons held APOP to an opponent 20.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 43.5 percent accuracy of the winners. Moufflons forced 19 APOP turnovers and outrebounded them 50-38 including a 39-28 advantage in defensive rebounds. Moufflons players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by APOP 's players. American forward Kylie Meadows (180, college: Bluefield) scored 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 blocks (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) to lead the charge for the winners and Vasiliki Pousiapake (176-2005) chipped in 20 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Moufflons' coach felt very confident using 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was Panagiota Themistokleous (185-2000) with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 20 rebounds and point guard Maritsa Efstathiou (168-1998) scored 17 points and 5 assists. Moufflons moved-up to third place. APOP lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom position with four games lost.
