LaMarr Greer poured in 29 points including five three-pointers as Keravnos Strovolos topped Proteas EKA AEL 78-74 in the opening game of the national basketball championship Round 13 on Friday night at the Melford Arena in Limassol. This is the first win for the ruling champions over Proteas EKA AEL in Limassol after seven years during which they played 20 games; however, from the tip-off it did not look that the visitors would return to Nicosia with a victory.
