ZTE KK could keep the homecourt advantage as they had an easy victory by 26 points Szolnok in the first game of the semifinals. American point guard Louis Hinnant was close to a double-double with 20 points and 9 assists. Chad Timberlake helped his team with 14 points, Kyle Wilson added 15 points and 6 rebounds.
