No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Olin Edirne (4-2) defeated at home 13th ranked Oyak Renault (1-5) 74-67. The biggest contributor to a victory was FYR Macedonian center Predrag Samardjiski (214-86, agent: Luciano Capicchioni) with double-double 22 points and 16 rebounds. Former international guard Can Akin (190-83, agent: Murat Yenal) helped with 19 points and 4 assists. Olin Edirne's coach Gokhan Tastimur used 10-player rotation giving the chance to rest for starting five. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward James Mays (206-86, college: Clemson) who recorded 15 points and 7 rebounds and his countryman guard Antabia Waller (188-88, college: Auburn) added 14 points. Oyak Renault added third loss to their record. Thanks to that win newly promoted Olin Edirne moved-up to fifth place. Oyak Renault dropped to the thirteenth place with five games lost. They share it with Tofas, Trabzonspor and Mersin. Olin Edirne are looking forward to the next round to face league's new leader Fener.Ulker in Istanbul and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
