The most exciting game in round 6 was Banvit (#2) very close only 1-point road victory over Karsiyaka (3-3) 71-70. The biggest contributor to a victory was American center Lance Williams (206-80, college: De Paul) with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Former international guard Baris Ermis (194-85) helped with 7 points and 7 assists. Banvit's coach Orhun Ene used 11-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Omar Sneed (198-76, college: Memphis) who recorded 13 points and 9 assists and guard David Holston (170-86, college: Chicago St.) added 18 points and 4 assists. Banvit has an impressive series of five victories in a row. Banvit maintain second position having just one point less than leader Fener.Ulker. Karsiyaka dropped to the seventh place with three games lost. They share it with Besiktas and Bornova. Banvit are looking forward to the next round to face Tofas (#15) in Bursa which should be an easy walk for them.
