There was an upset when 11th ranked Puntukas (4-9) lost to thirteenth ranked Erelita (4-9) in Anyksciai 69-62. Forward Karolis Pupinis (200-88) orchestrated the victory with double-double 14 points and 10 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!). Guard Matas Sapiega (180-90) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Forward Darius Tarvydas (200-91) replied with 19 points and forward Henrikas Vorotnikovas (202-90) added 8 points and 10 rebounds for Puntukas. Both coaches used bench players giving the chance to rest for starting five. Puntukas added fourth loss to their record. Erelita (4-9) jumped to the eleventh spot. They share that position with defeated Puntukas, Akademija and ABRO-Univ. Erelita's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Kaunas to the arena Zalgiris-Sabonio.
