Rather predictable result when fourth ranked Antalya (5-1) beat at home 8th ranked Bornova (3-3) 78-74. The biggest contributor to a victory was former international guard Muratcan Guler (192-80, agent: Murat Yenal) with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. American guard J.P. Prince (201-87, college: Tennessee) helped with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Tyler Smith (201-86, college: Tennessee) who recorded double-double 24 points and 11 rebounds and his countryman guard Michael Roll (196-87, college: UCLA) added 21 points and 7 rebounds. Thanks to that win Antalya moved-up to second place. Bornova dropped to the seventh place with three games lost. They share it with Karsiyaka and Besiktas. Antalya are looking forward to the next round to face Oyak Renault (#14) in Bursa which should be an easy walk for them. Bornova will play at home against Erdemir (#10) hoping to prove their fans that this time they can win.
