No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Zalgiris-Sabonio (8-5) beat 15th ranked Delikatesas (3-10) in Kaunas 87-74. Center Gediminas Zyle (210-88) orchestrated the victory with double-double 24 points and 12 rebounds. Center Mindaugas Kupsas (211-91) contributed with double-double 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Zilvinas Petraitis (194-88) replied with 33 points (!!!) (perfect from downtown making all five shots) and forward Juotas Blazys (197-82) added 16 points and 11 rebounds for Delikatesas. Both coaches used bench players giving the chance to rest for starting five. Zalgiris-Sabonio (8-5) did not change their fifth position in the standings. Delikatesas dropped to the fifteenth place with 3-10 record. Zalgiris-Sabonio's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kaunas Erelita.
