Everything went according to plan in Istanbul where first ranked Optimum TED (6-0) outscored 9th ranked Beykoz (2-4) 88-69. Guard Serhan Kavut (189-81) scored double-double 16 points and 11 assists to led the charge for the winners and power forward Ihsan Yalcin (200-82) helped with 25 points and 5 rebounds. The best for the losing side was guard Erkan Inan (192-89) with 24 points and 5 rebounds and guard Arin Sogancioglu (190-87) with 16 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players giving the chance to rest for starting five. Optimum TED has an impressive series of six victories in a row. Optimum TED (6-0) stay at first position. Beykoz (2-4) on the other side took ninth place as they recorded their fourth loss. Optimum TED are looking forward to the next round to face Akhisar Bld (#6) on the road where they are favorite. Beykoz's supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Istanbul Istanbulspor.
