Another exciting game was fifteenth ranked Brasov (1-10) victory over 14th ranked Miercurea (1-11) 75-70. Swingman Radu Paliciuc (198-88) orchestrated the victory with 20 points and 8 rebounds. Montenegrin center Zeljko Bubanja (210-73) contributed with 22 points for the winners. American forward Levi Levine (198-82, college: Albany) answered with double-double 28 points and 12 rebounds and American-Mexican guard Enrico Tucker (180, college: San Diego) added 12 points and 7 assists for Miercurea. Brasov celebrated their first victory after ten consecutive losses, while for Miercurea it was their loss in a row. Thanks to that win Brasov left bottom position moving up to fourteenth place. Newly promoted Miercurea dropped to the fifteenth place with eleven games lost. Brasov's next round game will be against higher ranked Craiova (#11) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Miercurea will have a break next round.
