Regular Season Round 5: NSA - Academik PL 91-101

No shocking result in a game in Sofia where third ranked Academik PL (4-1) defeated 5th ranked NSA (2-2) 101-91. The best player for the winner was forward Martin Horozov (200-86) who had double-double 28 points and 17 rebounds. Forward Dimitar Horozov (198-82) helped with double-double 25 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Mihail Tanev (197-90) produced 33 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds and forward Ventsislav Manuilov (202-91) added 17 points and 11 rebounds for the hosts. Thanks to that win newly promoted Academik PL moved-up to second place. NSA dropped to the fifth place with two games lost. They share it with Balkan 2, Chavdar and Cherno More U18. Academik PL will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. NSA will play on the road against Academik BL (#11) hoping to prove their supporters that this time they can win.
