Very significant was Stahnsdorf's (#3) 80-75 home victory against second-best Schwelm. Center Michael Haucke (210-85) nailed 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and American forward Kellen Williams (193-84, college: E.Washington) accounted for 15 points and 8 rebounds. Naturalized American forward Kristofer Speier (206-81, college: Lewis-Clark) came up with double-double 18 points and 13 rebounds and American guard Jason Holmes (191-86, college: Le Moyne) added 14 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for Schwelm in defeat. Stahnsdorf has a solid series of three victories in a row. That victory allowed Stahnsdorf (7-2) to take over a leadership position. They share it with Licher Baeren, Leitershofen and Herten.
