Very significant was Hoverla's (#3) 78-73 road victory against Azovmash in the game for the third place. American center Eric Coleman (200-85, college: N.Iowa, agent: Michael Hart) nailed 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and his countryman guard Jeremy Chappell (191-87, college: Robert Morris, agent: Michael Hart) accounted for 15 points and 9 rebounds. Hoverla's coach Evgeni Murzin allowed to play his deep bench players in such tough game. American forward Fred House (195-78, college: S.Utah, agent: Iman Shokuohizadeh) came up with double-double 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and his countryman power forward Demetrius Alexander (204-75, college: Alabama) added 19 points and 5 rebounds for Azovmash in defeat. Hoverla (12-5) has a solid series of three victories in a row. Despite the win they stay at third position having just three points less than leader BC Donetsk. Defending champion Azovmash (10-6) on the other side took fourth place as they recorded their sixth loss. Hoverla's next round game will be against league's leader BC Donetsk at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Azovmash will play against Halychyna to get back on winning track.
