Regular Season Round 10: Langen - Weissenhorn 92-89

Date: November 27, 2010
Another exciting game where sixth ranked Langen (6-4) edged by three points 5th ranked BG Illertal (5-5) 92-89. It also means that the series of two victories in a row of BG Illertal ended. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Nathan Drury (188-85, college: Carroll) who helped to win the game recording 24 points. Swingman Patrick Heckmann (196-92, college: High School) contributed with 19 points and 5 assists for the winners. Center Michael Wenzl (209-91) replied with 15 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) and forward Florian Mobius (202-79) added 16 points for BG Illertal. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Thanks to that win Langen moved-up to fifth place. Newly promoted BG Illertal dropped to the sixth place with five games lost. They share it with Rist-Wedel and Wulfen. Langen's next round game will be against Dt.Bank SKY II (#9) at Frankfurt. BG Illertal will play at home against NBC to get back on winning track.
