Another exciting game for Genc Telekom (4-3) which played in Bursa against Final Genclik (3-4). Sixth ranked Genc Telekom eked out just a narrow 1-point road win over Final Genclik 62-61. It was a great evening for guard Serhat Gunes (197-86) who led his team to a victory with 13 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Can Ugur Ogut (178-92) helped adding 16 points. At the losing side Costa Rican center Hernold Gardener (205-82, college: Lon Morris JC) responded with 18 points and 5 rebounds and guard Sayit Ay (185-80) with 7 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Final Genclik's coach tried 10 players in such tough game. Genc Telekom jumped to the fifth spot in group A. They share that position with Darussafaka and Istanbul B.B. Final Genclik dropped to the eighth position. Genc Telekom's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Ankara to the arena Orman Genc.
