Regular Season Round 18: Ferro-ZNTU - BC Kyiv 75-59

There was no surprise in Zaporozhye where 11th ranked BC Kyiv (4-11) was defeated by ninth ranked Ferro-ZNTU (7-9) 75-59. The biggest contributor to a victory was American forward Christian Burns (203-85, college: Philadelphia, agent: Michael Hart) with 18 points and 6 rebounds. His countryman forward Anthony Johnson (203-88, college: Fairfield) helped with 15 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was former international forward Oleg Saltovets (202-77) who recorded double-double 12 points and 11 rebounds and guard Oleksandr Lypovyy (200-91) added 17 points. Ferro-ZNTU maintains ninth position. BC Kyiv keeps the eleventh place with eleven games lost. Ferro-ZNTU are looking forward to the next round to face higher ranked BC Odessa (#8) on the road and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. BC Kyiv will play against Hoverla hoping to prove their fans that it was just an accident.
