An interesting game was also a 28-point surprising home defeat of higher ranked Phoenix Hagen (#8) in a game versus Duesseldorf (#18) 58-86. Phoenix Hagen's coach Ingo Freyer gave up on the game allowing to play 10 players saving starting five for next games. Duesseldorf (2-8) did not change their eighteenth position in the standings.
