Regular Season Round 4: Alges - Sangalhos 47-65

Seventh-ranked Sangalhos had no problems on the court of Alges (#11). Sangalhos (3-1) beat Alges (0-4) with a record 18 points 65-47. Forward Nuno Bizarro (192-80) fired 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Emanuel Silva (188-79) helped with double-double 10 points and 10 rebounds. Cape Verdean forward Fidel Mendonca (191-84) produced 15 points and center Jones Pedro (208-90) added 7 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players saving starting five for next games. That victory allowed Sangalhos (3-1) to climb to second place. They share it with Fisica and Angra. Fourth consecutive loss means that Alges is still at the bottom of the standings. Sangalhos will meet next round at home Povoa (#8) at home where they are favorite. Alges will play against Galitos FC hoping to get finally their first victory.
