Regular Season Round 10: Wulfen - Vechta 80-97

Rather expected game when 6th ranked Wulfen (5-5) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Vechta (7-3) 97-80. Guard Marvin Boadu (193-89, college: High School) fired 22 points for the winners. American guard Matthew Reid (185-84, college: Cameron) helped with 11 points. American forward Joseph Henley (196, college: Sacred Heart) produced 26 points and 7 rebounds and his countryman guard Steve Briggs (178, college: Okla.Wesleyan) added 21 points and 4 assists for lost side. Both coaches used bench players and giving the chance to rest for starting five. Wulfen (5-5) added third loss to their record. Thanks to that win Vechta moved-up to second place. Newly promoted Wulfen keeps the sixth place with five games lost. They share it with Rist-Wedel and BG Illertal. Vechta are looking forward to the next round to face Bayer Giants (#8) in Leverkusen where they are favorite. Wulfen will play at home against Leipzig hoping to prove their fans that they can break losing series.
