No shocking result in a game when second ranked Levski (6-1) beat 8th ranked Spartak (1-6) in Pleven 109-100. It was a very good performance for American guard Jason Crowe (193-76, college: Cal.St. Northridge) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his eight free throws). His countryman swingman Aaron Harper (199-81, college: Mississippi, agent: Jamie Knox) contributed with double-double 19 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Levski's coach Konstantin Papazov allowed to play his deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Forward Todor Todorov (198-82) answered with 20 points and 6 rebounds and former international forward Iliya Stankov (198-76) added 23 points for Spartak. Levski (6-1) have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They did not change their second position in the standings. Spartak keeps the last position. Levski are looking forward to the next round to face Chernomorets (#5) in Burgas. Spartak will play on the road against league's new leader Lukoil Academik hoping to prove their supporters that this time they can win.
