Regular Season Round 10: Dragons - Jena 81-94

There was an upset in Rhoendorf where higher ranked Dragons (4-7) was defeated by fourteenth ranked Jena (4-6) 94-81. American forward Jamil Tucker (206-87, college: Virginia) fired 24 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. His countryman guard Larry Cunningham (190-85, college: Cal-Riverside, agent: Ingo Wolf) helped with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Center Jonas Wohlfarth-Bottermann (207-90) produced 28 points and 8 rebounds (made all of his twelve free throws !!!) and American forward Sanijay Watts (193-87, college: Cent.Missouri, agent: Ingo Wolf) added 24 points for lost side. Both coaches used bench players and gave the chance to rest for starting five. Thanks to that win Jena moved-up to ninth place. Newly promoted Dragons dropped to the twelfth place with seven games lost. Jena are looking forward to the next round to face higher ranked Chemnitz (#6) on the road and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Dragons will have a break next round.
