Regular Season Round 10: TSV Troester - Gotha 74-82

There was an upset in Breitenguessbach where higher ranked TSV Troester (4-5) was defeated by eleventh ranked Gotha (3-7) 82-74. American guard Jason Boucher (180-80, college: Grand Valley St.) fired 26 points for the winners. His countryman forward Parnell Smith (198-84, college: Buffalo) helped with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Gotha's coach Alexander Khartchenkov used 11-player rotation and giving the chance to rest for starting five. Center Erik Land (203-90) produced 21 points and 6 rebounds and guard Maurice Stuckey (187-90, agent: Patrick King) added 16 points for lost side. TSV Troester (4-5) added third loss to their record. Thanks to that win newly promoted Gotha moved-up to ninth place. TSV Troester keeps the seventh place with five games lost. Gotha are looking forward to the next round to face league's second-placed Licher Baeren on the road and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. TSV Troester will play against league's new leader Ehingen (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.
