No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Juventus (6-3) beat 11th ranked Perlas (2-6) in Utena 72-60. It was a very good performance for former international forward Aurimas Kieza (202-82, college: Hofstra, agent: Mindaugas Veromejus) who helped to win the game recording double-double 31 points and 14 rebounds. Forward Jonas Elvikis (195-82) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Guard Aidas Viskontas (185-86) replied with 20 points and 5 assists and center Tautvydas Slezas (207-90, agent: Luciano Capicchioni) added 8 points and 7 rebounds for Perlas. Perlas' coach Roberts Stelmahers tried 11 players and gave the chance to rest for starting five. Juventus jumped to the third spot. Perlas keeps the eleventh position. They are looking forward to the next round to face Lietuvos Rytas (#4) in Vilnius. Perlas will play at home against Alytus Alita (#13) hoping to prove their fans that it was just an accident.
