Regular Season Round 19: Ferro-ZNTU - Khimik 92-86

Date: December 2, 2010
Very expected game when 13th ranked Khimik (3-14) lost to eighth ranked Ferro-ZNTU (8-10) in Zaporozhye 86-92. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. American players dominated the game. It was a very good performance for forward Christian Burns (203-85, college: Philadelphia, agent: Michael Hart) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 15 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws). Forward Anthony Johnson (203-88, college: Fairfield) contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Five Ferro-ZNTU players scored in double figures. Forward Travis Garrison (203-84, college: Maryland, agent: Keith Kreiter) answered with 20 points and 6 rebounds and guard Curtis Millage (185-81, college: Arizona St.) added 15 points and 5 assists in the effort for Khimik. Four Khimik players scored in double figures. Despite that victory Ferro-ZNTU went down to ninth position due to points difference. Khimik keeps the last position. Ferro-ZNTU will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Khimik will play on the road against DniproAzot (#12) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
