We should not miss a road victory of eleventh ranked BC Kyiv (5-12) over 3rd placed Hoverla (12-6) 74-73. The former international forward Vitaly Kovalenko (201-84) fired 22 points for the winners. Guard Oleksandr Lypovyy (200-91) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. Four BC Kyiv players scored in double figures. American guard Derrick Zimmerman (189-81, college: Mississippi St., agent: Danny Servick) produced 13 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists (made all of his seven free throws) and the other American import guard Jeremy Chappell (191-87, college: Robert Morris, agent: Michael Hart) added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Hoverla's coach Evgeni Murzin rotated ten players in such tough game. BC Kyiv did not change their eleventh position in the standings. Hoverla keeps the third position. BC Kyiv's opponent will be higher ranked Mykolaiv in Mykolaiv in the next round.
