No shocking result in a game when eleventh ranked Silute (6-11) beat at home 15th ranked Erelita (4-13) 82-78. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. It was a good game for swingman Vytautas Nedzinskas (196-87) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds. Power forward Erikas Kaupaitis (202-84, college: USC Upstate) contributed with 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Silute players scored in double figures. Forward Karolis Pupinis (200-88) replied with 22 points and 7 rebounds and guard Matas Lisajevicius (190-91) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Erelita. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. They added fourth loss to their record. Silute jumped to the tenth spot. They share the position with ABRO-Univ. Erelita keeps the last position. Silute is looking forward to face higher ranked Triobet Malsta (#9) in Jonava in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Erelita will play at home against Perlas-MRU (#8) and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
