An interesting game was also surprising road defeat of 2nd ranked Vestel in a game versus Darussafaka (#7) 73-80 ending at the same time the two-game winning streak of Vestel. The winners were led by American guard Brandon Gordon (201-85, college: Alabama St., agent: Murat Asik) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and guard Yunus Sonsirma (192-92) who supported him with 19 points and 5 rebounds. Even a double-double of 27 points and 17 rebounds by American power forward Arthur Johnson (206-81, college: Missouri) did not help to save the game for Vestel. Forward Mustafa Gorur (204-88) added 12 points and 11 rebounds for the guests. Four Vestel players scored in double figures. Vestel's coach Murat Polat tested ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. Darussafaka has a solid four-game winning streak. They jumped to the fifth spot in group A.
