The most interesting game of round 8 was a very close only three-point road a defeat of 7th ranked Tundja to third ranked Balkan 74-77. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Jordan Bozov (191-79) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and who added 9 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Slovenian forward Simon Finzgar (196-80, agent: Gasper Bizjak) responded with 15 points and 6 rebounds and international guard Pavel Marinov (197-88, agent: Luciano Capicchioni) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. Four Tundja players scored in double figures. Tundja (2-6) added fifth loss to their record. Despite the victory Balkan (5-3) stay at third position having just six points less than leader Lukoil Academik. Tundja who is 2-6 is currently in seventh place. Balkan is looking forward to face Chernomorets (#5) in Burgas in the next round. Tundja will play at home against Rilski Sportist and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
