There was a minor upset in Samokov where one of their biggest challengers Euroins Cherno More (3-5) was defeated by sixth ranked Rilski Sportist (3-5) 89-82. The best player for the winners was international swingman Ivan Lilov (196-88, agent: Ivan Asanin) who scored 37 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds. FYR Macedonian guard Dimitar Karadzhovski (189-84, agent: Goran Gramatikov) chipped in 23 points and 5 assists. American swingman Aaron Harper (199-81, college: Mississippi, agent: Jamie Knox) produced 20 points and 8 rebounds and international forward Alexander Yanev (203-90, agent: Luciano Capicchioni) added 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests.
