Another very easy game for TED Kayseri (6-1) which played on the court of Istanbul Univ. (1-6). Third ranked TED Kayseri crushed hosts with a record 23 points 76-53. It was a great evening for American swingman Bahar Ozturk (183-84, college: Connecticut) who led her team to a victory scoring 19 points and 5 rebounds. Her fellow American import power forward Nakia Sanford (193-76, college: Kansas) helped adding 14 points and 8 rebounds. Four TED Kayseri players scored in double figures. At the losing side the former international forward Mehtap Gezer (192-88) responded with 11 points and 7 rebounds and American guard Okeisha Howard (165-81, college: ODU, agent: Huky Nir) scored 14 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. TED Kayseri has an solid series of four victories in a row comparing to six consecutive losses by Istanbul Univ. They is a new league leader. They share the position with Fenerbahce and Galatasaray. Istanbul Univ. keeps the eleventh position. TED Kayseri's will play against Besiktas (#5) at Istanbul in the next round. Istanbul Univ. will play at home against Ceyhan Bld (#7) to get more than just one victory in their record.
