The closest game of round 11 in the LKL was only three-point home a defeat of 3rd placed Juventus to fifth ranked Lietuvos Rytas 80-83. It ended the two-game winning streak of Juventus. It was a great evening for American guard Khalid El-Amin (178-79, college: Connecticut, agent: Misko Raznatovic) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 4 assists. Five Juventus players scored in double figures. The victory allowed current champions Lietuvos Rytas (6-1) to climb to third place. Juventus who is 6-4 went down to fifth position as they suffered their fourth loss. Lietuvos Rytas will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Juventus will play on the road against Neptunas (#11) and is hoping to win this game.
