Regular Season Round 11: Ehingen - TSV Troester 67-66

TSV Troester (#7)Ehingen in Allmendingen. Ehingen managed to secure only one-point victory 67-66. But their fans expected easier game. It was a great evening for center Kristian Kuhn (208-87, college: N.Arizona) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds. American guard Virgil Matthews (188-83, college: Montana) helped adding 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Ehingen's coach Ralph Junge allowed to play his deep bench players in such tough game. Naturalized Croatian forward Ivan Pavic (201-81) responded with 22 points and 8 rebounds and center Philipp Neumann (210-92) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Ehingen (10-1) have an impressive series of ten victories in a row comparing to four consecutive losses by TSV Troester. They of course still keep top position in the standings in group South. TSV Troester keeps the seventh position with 4-6 record. Ehingen's will play against league's second-placed Licher Baeren at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. TSV Troester will play against Schwenningen (#8) and hope to get back on the winning track.
