No shocking result in a game when third ranked Sangalhos (4-1) defeated at home 8th ranked Povoa (2-3) 77-63. The best player for the winners was swingman Emanuel Silva (188-79) who scored 27 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Luis Fonte (191-79) chipped in 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Sangalhos players scored in double figures. Nigerian forward George Ehiagwina (206-89) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and American forward Anthony jr. Oha (198-83, college: Prairie View A&M) added 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Thanks to that win Sangalhos moved-up to second place. Povoa lost their third straight game in a row. Povoa at the other side dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. Sangalhos will face Guifoes (#6) at home in the next round. Povoa will play against Electrico FC in Ponte de Sor and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
