Very predictable result in Joniskis where seventh ranked Nafta Universitetas (10-8) defeated 13th ranked Delikatesas (5-13) 68-55. Guard Andrius Zymantas (188-81) fired 9 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Swingman Tadas Mazelis (194-92) chipped in 16 points. Nafta Universitetas' coach Dainius Miliunas used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Swingman Zilvinas Petraitis (194-88) produced 22 points and center Julius Jucikas (205-89) added 11 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Nafta Universitetas. Despite the win they stay at seventh position. Delikatesas is currently in thirteenth place with a 5-13 record as they suffered their thirteenth loss. Nafta Universitetas will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Delikatesas will play against Akademija (#15) in Vilnius and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
