Regular Season Round 19: Meresta - Radviliskis 59-62

The closest game of round 19 in the NKL was only three-point a home defeat of their biggest opponent Meresta (13-5) to third ranked Radviliskis (12-6) 59-62. It ended the three-game winning streak of Meresta. It was a great evening for forward Audrius Mineikis (202-77) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Zilvinas Kuklierius (180-85) helped adding 14 points and 5 assists. At the losing side power forward Thomas Druktenis (203-78) responded with 11 points and guard Simonas Slivka (194-86) scored 10 points. Meresta's coach Dainius Bertulis rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Despite the victory Radviliskis stay at third position having just five points less than leader Pieno Zvaigzdes. Meresta is currently in second place with a 13-5 record as they suffered their fifth loss. Radviliskis is looking forward to face Erelita (#13) in Kaunas in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Meresta will play at home against ABRO-Univ. (#11) in Siauliai and is hoping to win this game.
