Regular Season Round 12: Schwenningen - TSV Troester 80-83

The most interesting game of round 12 in the ProB was a very close only three-point a home defeat of 8th ranked BV Villingen-Schwenningen (4-8) to seventh ranked TSV Troester (5-6) 80-83 in the game for the seventh place. TSV Troester trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 26-19 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Strangely BV Villingen-Schwenningen outrebounded TSV Troester 42-28 including 32 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Maurice Stuckey (187-90, agent: Patrick King) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and center Philipp Neumann (210-92) who added 9 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American guard Blake Young (188-85, college: Kansas St., agent: 22ft) with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and naturalized Polish forward Jan Fikiel (208-83, college: Pennsylvania) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Despite the victory TSV Troester stay at seventh position in group South. BV Villingen-Schwenningen is currently in eighth place with a 4-8 record as they suffered their eighth loss. TSV Troester is looking forward to face higher ranked BG Illertal/Weissenhorn (#6) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. BV Villingen-Schwenningen will play against Leitershofen in Diedorf and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
