Another exciting game was played in Zaporozhye between eighth ranked Ferro-ZNTU and 4th placed Hoverla where host Ferro-ZNTU (11-10) won against Hoverla (12-9) 76-68. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 27-18. But Hoverla won third quarter 18-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ferro-ZNTU made 19-of-24 charity shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Ferro-ZNTU outrebounded Hoverla 39-26 including 16 on the offensive glass. The game was dominated by American players. It was a good game for forward Vincent Hunter (208-84, college: Arkansas) who led his team to a victory with 14 points and 8 rebounds.
