There was a minor upset in Paderborn where 9th ranked BG Karlsruhe (6-7) was crushed by twelfth ranked Webmoebel Baskets (6-7) 112-89. BG Karlsruhe was ahead by 5 points at the halftime before a 67-39 second half run of Webmoebel Baskets. They were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists.
