Leader Ehingen/Urspringschule delivered the twelfth victory on Friday night. This time they beat 5th ranked Leitershofen (8-5) 71-53 in Diedorf. The game was mostly controlled by Ehingen/Urspringschule. Leitershofen managed to win third quarter 16-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Center Kristian Kuhn (208-87, college: N.Arizona) fired 10 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Australian center Timothy Lang (206-85, college: Stetson) chipped in 14 points. Four Ehingen/Urspringschule players scored in double figures. American center Devin Uskoski (198-85, college: Rocky Mountain) produced 14 points and 6 rebounds and forward Dominik Veney (200-87) added 9 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the twelfth consecutive win for Ehingen/Urspringschule. They maintain first place in group South with 12-1 record. Newly promoted Leitershofen dropped to the fourth position with five games lost. Ehingen/Urspringschule will face Oettinger Rockets Gotha (#8) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Leitershofen will play against BV Villingen-Schwenningen (#9).
