Everything went according to plan in Ankara where fourth ranked Hacettepe Univ. (7-3) outleveled 7th ranked Basaksehir (4-6) 89-64 on Saturday. The game without a history. Hacettepe Univ. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. American power forward Jermaine Dearman (202-80, college: S.Illinois) fired 24 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Guard Ozgur Adiguzel (196-77) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. Power forward Tyrus Boswell (202-78, college: Ky Wesleyan) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and forward Ahmet Yilmaz (196-83) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Hacettepe Univ. moved-up to third place in group B, which they share with Gaziantep. Newly promoted Basaksehir keeps the seventh position with six games lost. Hacettepe Univ. will face Selcuk Universitesi (#5) in Konya in the next round. Basaksehir's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Istanbul ITU Istanbul.
