Regular Season Round 9: Burhaniye Bld - Fenerbahce 61-85

Leader Fenerbahce delivered the eighth victory on Saturday night. This time they crushed bottom-ranked Burhaniye Bld (0-9) 85-61 in Balikesir. The game was mostly controlled by Fenerbahce. Burhaniye Bld managed to win third quarter 22-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Burhaniye Bld to just 7 points in second quarter. Fenerbahce outrebounded Burhaniye Bld 35-19 including 24 on the defensive glass. Newly promoted Burhaniye Bld still closes the standings with nine games lost. Fenerbahce will meet at home Besiktas (#4) in the next round. Burhaniye Bld will play against Tarsus Bld (#6) in Mersin and hopes to get finally their first victory.
