Round 13 closest game was a home victory of LKKA-Aistes (#3) over 5th ranked MRU. LKKA-Aistes managed to escape with only 2-point win 77-75 on Saturday night. . The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. It was a great shooting night for LKKA-Aistes especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Santa Okockyte (176-92) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Center Laura Svaryte (190-92) contributed with 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Center Inga Aleksaite (193-89) answered with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds and international forward Lina Aglinskaite (181-87) added 20 points in the effort for MRU. Four MRU players scored in double figures. LKKA-Aistes (7-4) jumped to the second spot. They share the position with Lemminkainen. MRU lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 5-6 record. LKKA-Aistes is looking forward to face league's second-placed Lemminkainen in Klaipeda in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. MRU will play at home against the league's leader VICI Kaunas and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
