AD Vagos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of Nigerian-American guard Chineze Nwagbo (183-82, college: Syracuse) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). International forward Joana Lopes (185-86) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four AD Vagos players scored in double figures. AD Vagos will have a break next round. GDESSA will play on the road against CDTN (#7) in Torres Novas and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
