Another exciting game for undefeated Dunav 2007 (8-0) which played on the court of Academik Plovdiv (6-2). Leader Dunav 2007 won 79-72. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Academik Plovdiv. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the first quarter 26-18. But Academik Plovdiv won second period 15-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Guard Christian Borisov (188-88) stepped up and scored 17 points and 6 assists for the winners and forward Hristo Gospodinov (202-92) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds. Four Dunav 2007 players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Martin Horozov (200-86) with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 16 rebounds and forward Dimitar Horozov (198-82) scored 23 points. Dunav 2007 have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They of course still keep top position in the standings. Academik Plovdiv dropped to the third place. Dunav 2007 will play against bottom-ranked Academic Blagoevgrad (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Academik Plovdiv will play against Academik Plovdiv (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
