There was no surprise when 12th ranked SSV Lok Bernau (2-12) was edged at home by tenth ranked Bayer Giants (5-9) 78-76 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 11 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 2 points. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was guard Josh Young (188, college: Ferris St.) who scored 26 points. Center Justin Eller (203-87, college: Sacramento St.) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds.
