There was a surprise result when fourteenth ranked Erdemir (3-8) defeated at home higher ranked Antalya (8-4) 77-62 on Thursday. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 50-34 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Erdemir looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American-Lebanese swingman Antwain Barbour (196-82, college: Kentucky, agency: Court Side) who scored 21 points and 5 rebounds.
