Undefeated leader Lukoil Academik delivered the twelfth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 6th ranked Tundja (3-9) 89-41 in Sofia. The game without a history. Lukoil Academik led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Tundja's 32. Lukoil Academik forced 21 Tundja turnovers and outrebounded them 54-30 including a 19-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for American center Travis Peterson (208-85, college: Samford, agency: Edge Sports) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds. The other American import guard Brandon Heath (193-84, college: San Diego St.) contributed with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Lukoil Academik players scored in double figures. Slovenian guard Davor Sattler (185-86, agency: Global Sports Plaza) replied with 9 points and the former international center Nikolay Varbanov (209-85, agency: Interperformances) added 6 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Tundja. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
