We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Lviv where 11th ranked Halychyna (7-17) was defeated by twelfth ranked Khimik (6-18) 89-78. Halychyna was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 44-30 second half run of Khimik. American forward Travis Garrison (203-84, college: Maryland, agency: Edge Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points and 7 rebounds. Moldovan guard Andrii Kalnichenko (200-86) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Khimik's coach Zoran Martic used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. American guard Todd Abernethy (185-84, college: Mississippi) replied with 18 points and 6 assists and guard Pavel Revzin (194-83) added 20 points in the effort for Halychyna. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Khimik maintains twelfth position with 6-18 record. Halychyna lost fifth consecutive game.
