An interesting game took place in Bursa where higher ranked Antalya (8-6) was upset on the court of eleventh ranked Tofas (5-9) 85-65 on Saturday. The game without a history. Tofas led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Tofas outrebounded Antalya 45-30 including 17 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Antalya's players. The best player for the winners was American swingman Austin Nichols (198-82, college: Humboldt St.) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Inanc Koc (202-79) chipped in 10 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Tofas players scored in double figures. Tofas' coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. American guard J.P. Prince (201-87, college: Tennessee) produced 22 points and 7 rebounds and the former international guard Muratcan Guler (192-80, agency: 1x1 Sports) added 16 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Tofas moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Trabzonspor and Bornova. Antalya lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with six games lost. They share it with Olin Edirne. Tofas will meet Erdemir (#14) on the road in the next round. Antalya will play against Galatasaray (#3) in Istanbul and hope to secure a win.
