An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Lasko. First ranked Zlatorog faced 4th placed Elektra. Host Zlatorog (8-1) defeated guests from Sostanj (6-4) 73-66. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Elektra. The hosts were ahead by 7 points but lost the second period ending it with a 2-point deficit before their 20-11 run, which allowed them to win the game. Serbian forward Vladimir Panic (194-82) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points. Forward Jaka Brodnik (203-92) contributed with 11 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Serbian power forward Milos Miljkovic (204-84) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds and center Salih Nuhanovic (209-82) added 10 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Elektra. Four Elektra players scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Zlatorog. They maintain first place with 8-1 record. Elektra at the other side keeps the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with Polzela. Zlatorog will play against Polzela (#5) on the road in the next round. Elektra will play against Parklji in Bezigrad and hopes to get back on the winning track.
